FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where are you located?
We are located in the wonderful city of Cartersville, outside of the Atlanta perimeter. It can be reached by I-75 North.
Do you offer a catalog or list of your fragrances?
We do not offer a listing of our fragrances. The reason is that we may have 100 French Vanilla fragrances. All of the fragrances are formulated for their specific product or specific use. Ask one of our sales rep. for the fragrance you want, and tell them what product you will be using it for. Then we can hand-select the correct fragrance for you.
Are you a manufacturer or reseller?
We have over 1,000 different essential oils and aromatic chemicals that are purchased from all around the globe. We would never purchase fragrances from another manufacturer to resell. All of our fragrances are custom blended at our location under our very tight quality requirements.
Do you sell any other products?
No, We do not sell any other products.
We may test the fragrance in wax, soap and (or) other customer bases but the base is not our product. Our product is bulk fragrance oils. We do not pack the fragrances in 1,000 1 ounce bottles or add it into your base. We only sell fragrances in bulk packaging.
Are your fragrances concentrated or straight?
Yes, all of our fragrances are straight fragrance oils. Some people ask if we cut our oils. The answer is no, we do not. We custom manufacture each fragrance per the customer request per order.
Are your fragrances synthetic or natural?
Fragrances are made up of natural and synthetic ingredients.
Natural ingredients don’t last as long as synthetic materials. The natural materials will start to smell different after a few months. This shortens the shelf life of a product. The synthetic materials are made mostly from natural materials but just processed further. We have found that the combination of both makes a superior fragrance.
Do you offer all natural fragrances?
Yes. We just want people to be warned that the selection is very limited and the cost is much higher. An example would be Lavender Natural at $80.00/lb vs. Lavender Synthetic at $13.00/lb.
Are your fragrances soluble in water?
No, all of our fragrances are oil based. We can make a customer a water-soluble version if requested. The fragrances would have to be reformulated to use a material that makes oil based fragrances water soluble. This does not change the fragrance odor, just the composition.
Do you offer samples?
We offer samples to existing customers and prospective clients. Our sample lab works closely with our sales department to monitor our number of samples per client. We receive many requests per week of prospective clients wanting samples. We have to make sure that we prescreen our customers to evaluate their needs.
Can we purchase fragrances without a sample?
Yes, but we do not accept returns. Once a product has been shipped from our location, we cannot sell that product to another customer. We wouldn’t be able to tell if the product had been contaminated. We will never sell a product that we would not consider safe.
Can you do a duplication of my signature fragrance?
Yes, we can do duplications of your fragrance oil. We would need you to send us at least a 1/2 ounce sample of the fragrance oil that you would like us to have duplicated. We do have some minimum order requirements for duplication work. Please contact us for more information.
Can you do a duplication on a finished product?
Sometimes it is hard for us to get all of the fragrance oil out of a finished product. We can try to do a duplication of some finished products, but results are not as good as having the straight fragrance oil.
What is fragrance made of?
Fragrances are made of several ingredients. They can be all natural or synthetic or both. They have three main parts when be formulated or created. You have the top, middle and bottom notes.
The top note is the first light odor you smell when evaluating a fragrance. This is sweet, light fruity type odors.
The middle is also known as the body. This will be the complex part of the fragrance. This will be the main ingredients that make it floral, woodsy, feminine or masculine.
The bottom note is the lasting fragrance. Mainly musk, cedar type odors.
Why do you prescreen your customers?
We need to know our client’s needs and products. We don’t want to waste your time or ours. What if we sent you a $13/lb BBW dupe for candles but you wanted a $25/lb version for your new high-end lotion line. These are the things we need to know before we start the sampling process. We also need to know about your business. We will send you over a new customer packet to get filled out. We don’t sell your information or pry into your personal information. We just need more information to do a better job of servicing you, our customer.
What is your minimum order?
We have a 10 lb minimum per fragrance on all orders. We don’t want to go lower than 10 lb because this becomes too labor intensive to keep our lower price. The labor to make 10 lb to 100 lb is not that much different. The difference of 400 lb is at least 10% off the selling price compared to 25 lb of the same fragrance.
Do you offer Free Shipping?
We do offer free shipping on all orders over 200 lbs. This is for shipping only. All premium services will still be charged. Expedited, lift gate, limited access and so on. Please ask one of our Sales Managers for details.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
We can usually ship most orders within 3 to 5 days from order date. This also depends on the current backlog of orders and availability of raw materials. If you need a rush, please let our customer service know when placing the order. New fragrances can take up to 10 business days. The reason is some new fragrances require specialty raw materials that we have not purchased before. We will do whatever is possible to try to meet our customer’s deadline.
Do you offer information on how to make finished products?
Unfortunately we do not, but we are working on it. We do however have some helpful information on fragrance and the fragrance industry.
